The Planika Chantico is a glass tabletop bioethanol fire, a decorative centrepiece with a crystal glass body and inset bioethanol burner. Compact, portable and ideal for dining tables, side tables and outdoor patio tables.

The Chantico uses a simple gravity-fed bioethanol burner: pour fuel into the burner well, ignite, and enjoy a clean flame. Bioethanol burns to water vapour and CO₂ with no smoke or soot. The carbon released is approximately balanced by what the source crop absorbed during growth, so bioethanol is an approximately net-zero fuel in operation.

Does it need power?

No. Manual fill and ignition, no cables.

What fuel does it use?

Use high-grade bioethanol fuel (95–96.6% concentration). We recommend Calida Premium Bioethanol Fuel.

How long does one fill last?

Typical tabletop bioethanol burns give 1–2 hours per fill, depending on flame size.

How do I extinguish the flame?

Use the supplied snuffer/extinguisher tool to safely cover the burner opening. Never pour water on a bioethanol flame.
