The Planika Faro is a compact portable propane gas patio heater designed for outdoor use, delivering convenient radiant warmth on terraces, gardens and patios. Runs on a standard refillable propane gas cylinder, with no flue or mains power required.

The heater burns propane gas drawn from a standard refillable cylinder. A piezo igniter lights the burner, and adjustable controls let you set the flame and radiant heat output to suit conditions.

Radiant heat warms people and surfaces directly rather than the surrounding air, which is much more effective outdoors than convection-style heaters. There is no mains power requirement and no flue, the heater is for open outdoor use only.

Where can I use it?

Outdoors only. Never use in enclosed indoor spaces because gas combustion produces carbon dioxide and water vapour that require open ventilation.

What gas does it use?

Standard UK propane gas cylinders. The cylinder is sold separately, available from most petrol stations and DIY stores.

How long does a cylinder last?

Depends on heat setting and cylinder size. As a guide, a 13 kg propane cylinder gives roughly 10–15 hours of patio heating at full output.

Is it weatherproof?

It is built for outdoor use during operation. Store undercover or use a fitted cover when not in use to prolong service life.

Do I need to assemble it?

Most outdoor gas heaters arrive with minor assembly required. The user manual covers connection of the regulator, hose and cylinder.

Is professional installation required?

No. Connect a propane cylinder per the manual, ignite and use. Always follow the safety instructions.
