The Planika Neo 1000 Burner is a linear bioethanol insert with automatic BEV combustion, decorative log set and integrated refuelling pump. It is built to slot into custom housings or media walls, giving you the look of a real-flame fire with no flue or chimney.

BEV (Bio Ethanol Ventless) is Planika’s patented automatic burner technology. Bioethanol is heated inside a sealed chamber and turned into flammable vapours, so it is the vapour that burns, never the liquid fuel itself. A microprocessor regulates combustion and a suite of safety sensors (temperature, fuel level, seismic, spillage) monitor the burn at all times.

Combustion is clean with no smoke, soot or ash, so the burner can be installed without a flue, chimney or vent.

What heat output does the Neo 1000 produce?

The Neo 1000 produces 5.9 kW maximum. Planika recommends a minimum room cubature of 59 m³.

Do I need a flue or chimney?

No. The Neo 1000 uses BEV ventless technology and only needs a 230 V plug socket. There is no smoke, soot or ash, so no flue or chimney is required.

How long does one fill of fuel last?

A full 2.9 L fill provides Up to 4 hours of burn time on the lower flame setting, with proportionally less on the higher setting.

Are the decorative logs included?

Yes. The Neo Burner ships with a ceramic log set that mounts over the burner line for a traditional flame effect.

What fuel does the Neo Burner use?

Use high-grade bioethanol fuel (95–96.6% concentration). We recommend Calida Premium Bioethanol Fuel for the cleanest, most efficient burn and to keep your warranty valid.

What size opening do I need for the Neo 1000?

The burner is 1000 mm long. Plan the housing to accommodate the burner with clearance for the integrated refuelling pump and service access.

Is professional installation required?

The Neo Burner is designed for installation by a competent installer or experienced trade. Bentley Bioethanol Fires UK can supply only or arrange supply with assisted installation.
