BEV (Bio Ethanol Ventless) is Planika’s patented automatic burner technology. Bioethanol is heated inside a sealed chamber and turned into flammable vapours, so it is the vapour that burns, never the liquid fuel itself. A microprocessor regulates combustion and a suite of safety sensors (temperature, fuel level, seismic, spillage) monitor the burn at all times.

Combustion is clean with no smoke, soot or ash, so the fireplace produces real flame and warmth without flue or chimney requirements.

How realistic is the log-fire effect?

The Senso Stove ships with a decorative ceramic log set that sits over the burner line. Combined with the 2-stage flame, it creates a convincing traditional stove appearance with no smoke or ash.

Do I need a flue or chimney?

No. The Senso Stove uses BEV ventless technology and only needs a 230 V plug socket.

How long does one fill of fuel last?

A 1.3 L fill provides up to 4.5 hours of burn time on the lower flame setting. Refilling is automatic via the included fuel pump.

Where can I place the stove?

On any flat, stable indoor surface with access to a 230 V socket. Maintain manufacturer clearances from combustible furnishings (specified in the manual).

What fuel does it use?

Use high-grade bioethanol fuel (95–96.6% concentration). We recommend Calida Premium Bioethanol Fuel for the cleanest, most efficient burn and to keep your warranty valid.

Is professional installation required?

No. The Senso Stove is plug-and-play, position, plug in and ignite with the remote.
